Choco Mum is an Egyptian chocolate brand created to deliver premium taste with local character.


Artistry partnered with Choco Mum to shape the brand’s creative direction, campaign storytelling, and digital communication, building a brand that blends premium indulgence with Egyptian identity in a bold and contemporary way.

THE CHALLENGE

Choco Mum entered a market dominated by international chocolate brands at a time when imported products had become increasingly expensive and less accessible.


The brand needed a strong identity that could position it as a premium local alternative while creating an emotional connection with Egyptian consumers.


The challenge was to make Choco Mum feel proudly Egyptian without relying on clichés, transforming it from simply another FMCG product into a culturally recognizable brand.

OUR APPROACH

We built the brand around a simple but powerful idea:


A chocolate that speaks Egyptian.


This became the foundation of the campaign’s creative direction and storytelling approach, positioning Choco Mum as a celebration of Egyptian taste, humor, and identity.


We introduced the concept:

#شوكومام_شوكولاتة_من_أم_الدنيا


The platform blended premium visuals with culturally familiar storytelling, creating a brand world that felt playful, nostalgic, and proudly local.


To extend the narrative further, we developed a second campaign imagining Choco Mum as part of Egypt’s history across generations, from pharaonic-inspired references to vintage Egyptian aesthetics and retro advertising styles.

Visual & Content Direction

The visual language drew inspiration from Egyptian streets, vintage print culture, and local storytelling traditions.


Warm tones, expressive typography, and nostalgic textures created a world that felt both premium and familiar, while the tone of voice remained witty, conversational, and culturally grounded.


Every piece of content was designed to feel less like advertising and more like a shared local experience.

The Result

Choco Mum evolved into more than a chocolate brand, it became a recognizable local personality rooted in culture and modern taste.
